Chapter Fifteen
Mia
Thereâs no chance I can get off this rollercoaster anytime soon. Because of my drastically changed circumstances, thatâs a given. The emotional part is another story.
Itâs reassuring to know that Mom and Dad, and Lucy, will be safe. My extended family, like Camilla, will be fine too. They have their own staff to take care of things.
The moment could be almost peaceful, but Alessandra tempting me with sweets and insinuations quickly takes any peace I could have here.
And Iâm not opposedâ¦
âWas painting a metaphor for something?â I wonder when we are in her bedroom, and her hands are all over me, my skirt hiked up to my waist. It doesnât really matter. Want is taking over every corner of my mind, every fiber of my body. Forget about my romantic dreams, Iâll take this as long as I can get it.
For Alessandra, itâs different, I assume. To her, establishing equilibrium means to keep power. Itâs not entirely equal, but I canât worry about that now.
I moan as her fingers slip past the waistband of my panties, knowing they will meet warm wetness. I canât pretend, and I wonât try.
Alessandra doesnât linger, she turns me around and pushes me up against the wall. Iâll start working soon, my family and friends are safe, who cares that our wedding is mostly a performance?
My questions dissolve into nothing when she pulls down my panties after giving the black lace an appreciating brush with her fingertips. Iâm trembling. Speaking ofâ¦performance. She leans in, her hands firm on my thighs, and I barely have the chance to take a breath before her mouth is on me.
Itâs sort of spectacular how she takes control that way, and perhaps I knew it from the moment I saw her in the bar, and that is why I couldnât stop thinking about her.
That is why, despite this impossible situation, I allow myself to let go, and her, to take everything she wants.
Itâs messy, and quick, and I bite my lip in a failed effort to keep from making rather undignified sounds.
Aside from my panties pooled at my ankles, Iâm still fully dressed.
Alessandra, however, is the opposite of a mess. She gets to her feet, a small content smile on her face as she straightens her clothes and pushes a strand of hair that escaped her neat bun, behind her ear.
âItâs a good thing you had that espresso,â she says, matter-of-factly.
We still havenât addressed painting. My curiosity can wait, other things canât.
***
I must have fallen asleepâand how could I not drift off, warm and relaxed in her embrace? She spooned me, holding on before I could even begin to talk about reciprocating, and I couldnât resistâ¦but now sheâs gently shaking me awake, handing me a silky robe.
âCome with me,â she says. Her tone is warm and sated, even though we havenât gotten to that part yet. In the short time since weâve taken that step, I have learned that knowing what she does to me, is giving her satisfaction. I want to give her more, though the time of night is curious.
